12th CARPATHIAN BASIN CONFERENCE ON ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES

14th János Szentágothai Transdisciplinary Conference

for the first time in
BEREGSZÁSZ, TRANSCARPATHIA

June 1-4, 2016

The aim of the Conference: To present the recent results in environmental research about the Carpathian Basin, and to discuss theoretical and practical problems. The conference provides opportunity for creating cooperation between the participants and to initiates joint participation in international activities. In addition, the Conference gives a good opportunity for Hungarian students to practice holding their presentation in English. Finally, the Conference plans to present the latest environmentally aware educational methods.

Main topics of the Conference: Environmental Studies in English, Environmental Physics, Environmental Geology, Environmental Geography, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Microbiology, Environmental Education, Environmental Economics, International and European Union laws regarding the Environmental Protection, Ecology, Engineering in Environmental Protection.

Official languages of the Conference: Hungarian and English

The request of invited speakers is in progress. This year we would like to emphasize the importance of environmental education, the utilization of research results and the introduction of environmental values protection in the public thinking, through (public) education.

The fee includes the cost of the official publications of the conference, the conference folder, refreshments, participation on the official reception, lunches, the closing dinner and the fieldtrip of the Conference.

For accompanying persons the fee includes participation at the reception, the lunches, the closing dinner and the field trip.

For further and up to date information:

We kindly warn you that crossing the borders of Ukraine from EU member countries is possible just with valid passport (at least till the end of the stay – 5th June 2016), so if you do not own one, please arrange the necessary actions to purchase it in time.

The frontier-guard can ask for the demonstration of 15 thousand forint per day for “staying days + 5 days”, but this can be comfirmed by bank card or cash machine certificate.
